2021

These two pieces were designed and crafted in collaboration with Elsa Lherm Delorme, as part of an ongoing dialogue around material, form, and making. Made from solid oak and finished with a black stain, they draw inspiration from Japanese aesthetics, where balance, restraint, and the artisanal gesture are central. The chair, with its three solid legs and back rod, stands between sculpture and function. The bench, more raw in appearance, rests on an asymmetrical base, combining clean lines with carved, organic volumes. The black stain unifies the ensemble while revealing the grain and texture of the wood.
