COFFEE TABLE

This coffee table is entirely made from reclaimed materials, giving a second life to elements that already carried their own history. The granite top comes from a reuse center, the wood is sourced from the remnants of a shelving unit built in an architecture studio, and the metal legs originate from a former daybed. The table draws inspiration from the simplicity and functional elegance of creations by Danish designer Poul Kjærholm, renowned for his minimalist pieces in metal and stone. Here, the contrast between the raw granite and the metal legs echoes that aesthetic, while introducing a unique dimension through the unpredictable character of reclaimed materials. Each table is therefore a unique piece: its dimensions are determined by the size of the available granite slab, and no two can ever be exactly reproduced. This project fully embodies the idea of resource-conscious production that honors the history of materials, while remaining both functional and poetic.
