2025

I conceived this sake set after a period of research, exploring the balance between form, function, and everyday ritual. My aim was to design a coherent and harmonious ensemble where each piece naturally finds its place. I then met Sarah Guillemain, a ceramic artist based in Caen, who brought the project to life in her studio Argiles. Hand-thrown in grogged clay, the set includes a pitcher and four small cups designed to stack perfectly, matching the height of the pitcher and creating a visual and tactile unity. This collaboration with Sarah reflects the dialogue between drawing and material, between design precision and the expressive quality of handmade work.
