HANDLE

This door handle begins with a drawing — a deliberate, thoughtful gesture. Designed as an object in its own right, it explores the boundary between tool and design. Crafted from solid oak, stained black, its form draws inspiration from two familiar worlds : the handles of coffee machines, for their ergonomics and direct relationship to the hand, and the universe of knives, for their tension, precision, and strong, purposeful lines. Each curve is shaped to offer a natural, almost instinctive grip. The darkened wood reveals a deep, restrained materiality, where the grain of the oak remains subtly visible beneath the stain.
